Yes. DriveStar Driving School offers MTO-approved Beginner Driver Education (BDE) programs that meet all provincial requirements. After you successfully complete the course, your completion is electronically certified with the Ministry of Transportation (MTO).

Yes! We offer free pickup and drop-off within our designated service areas, making it easy and convenient to attend your driving lessons.

Absolutely. Our online learning platform allows you to complete the classroom portion of your Beginner Driver Education course at your own pace, from anywhere in Ontario.

Most students complete the program within 2–6 weeks, depending on their availability and driving lesson schedule.

Yes. We assist our students with:

  • Tips to help improve confidence and increase the chances of passing on the first attempt

We provide lessons in modern, clean, fully insured dual-control vehicles that are professionally maintained and regularly inspected to ensure the highest level of safety.

After successfully completing your MTO-approved Beginner Driver Education (BDE) course, you will not receive a paper certificate.

Instead, DriveStar electronically submits your course completion to the Ministry of Transportation. If you need proof of completion for insurance or other purposes, you can request a Driver's Licence History from ServiceOntario, which will show your BDE completion.

Yes. To receive your official MTO certification, you must successfully complete all required components of the Beginner Driver Education program, including:

Once all requirements have been completed, DriveStar will electronically certify your completion with the Ministry of Transportation.
